“The Global Game Jam® (GGJ) is the world’s largest game jam event (game creation) taking place around the world at physical locations. Think of it as a hackathon focused on game development.
“The GGJ brings the community together to work together for a weekend to make games. It is a unique opportunity for people to create, collaborate and practice their game making skills, and invites everyone of any skill level to take part.

But I can’t… isn’t an excuse. We need artists, musicians, folley, story, level design, code.
Make some noise
All games need foley. So hit stuff, drop stuff make funny noises and record them.
GET STARTEDEquipment and Software
We have access to the standard CS teaching build. So any software you have in practicals you will have in the Jam.
(If your practical is in a CS classroom)
Linux, Mac, PC
We have Linux, Mac and PC machines available.
You can bring your own laptop.
Software
Art: Gimp, Blender, Paint 😉
Programming: Unity, Arduino C, Javascript, php
Web: Use your public_html pages to share your games.
Food and Drink
No catering is provided during the event.
TaMed Da is open on Sunday 9:00am – 2:00pm
Food cannot be consumed in most of Llandinam. However food can be eaten in B59 away from the computers.
We don’t cleaners over the weekend, so you need cleanup after yourselves.
Covered cups need to used to prevent spills.
No food or uncovered liquids at the computers
